The topic of the 48 hours Neukölln 2025 art festival was “WTF (what the fact)? Between truth and perception”.
My art studio decided to participate with the title “Breaking!!! AI Mistakes Art Exhibit for Alternate Reality”.
I am not a fan of AI.
I do see its value and also the many problem it comes with, so I decided to create this piece in which I displayed my thoughts and questions as text appearing and disappearing slowly on top of a long closed curve. The curve represents our life, with its ups and downs. It’s a closed curve, because I think we might end in the same place we started. There are “waypoints”: significant events we encounter in our life. Our journey leaves small marks around us. Sometimes the shape of the curve changes, as a visual metafor for large unexpected events.
Duration of 1 loop: about 20 minutes.
The piece is rendered in real time instead of being a video loop because the world keeps changing. I didn’t want a fixed world. Things are often different when we arrive and when we leave.
